Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospice, home care, and ambulatory surgery centers. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as geriatrics, pain management, and ostomy care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Deliver compassionate support to patients receiving hospice palliative medicine.
- Assist in esthetic laser treatments as needed within the scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in hospice palliative medicine or working with people with disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Knowledge of IV infusion procedures and protocols.
- Familiarity with geriatric care practices is advantageous.
- Experience in pain management strategies is a plus.
- Background in ambulatory surgery centers or home care settings is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
