What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales Representative position at Cayce Mill Supply Co?
General Description: Handles and processes industrial, commercial and contractor telephone inquiries and orders. Develops and maintains excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with customer service in person and /or by telephone to resolve customer account issues with Cayce Mill Supply.
- Establishes, develops and maintains excellent working relationships with industrial, commercial and contractor customers and prospective customers.
- Help double check orders and transfers.
- Assist in stocking, and pulling orders.
- Assist in keeping warehouse shelves straight and clean.
- Assist with deliveries when needed.
- Assists the counter sales personnel, as required.
- Provides accurate, timely information to management regarding customer needs.
- Addresses all customer complaints and/or inquiries promptly. Assures equitable resolution to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Projects a positive, professional image of the company in all communications with customers, vendor and suppliers.
- Performs other related duties as dictated by business necessity or assigned by management.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC parts and concepts is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Unconditioned warehouse.
- Working on hard surface.
- Walking for majority of the day.
- Must be willing to get forklift certified through the company.
