Qualifications/ required skills:
Key Requirements10 years in database management.
Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
Design database schemas, access patterns, and locking strategies to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
Strong scripting and automation skills.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Extensive experience with AWS RDS Postgres, including setup, configuration, and management.
Implement database backup, recovery, and automation processes.
Must provide after-hours on-call support
Architect, design, and implement PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS, ensuring optimal configuration for performance and scalability.
Oversee database performance, security, and integrity
Set up and manage database instances, including multi-AZ deployments for high availability.
