SENIOR MANAGER, BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE
This role sits within the Advanced Process Solutions Domain (APS), which builds and deploys technologies to help Client move towards a future state in which digital is encouraged over paper, client interactions are digitized and automated, and operating associates focus on high value work.
Operating in a fast-paced environment and in close collaboration with business and technology partners, this role will identify, validate, and shepherd development of opportunities to digitize Company's operating system through re-engineering and effective use of technologies. The role will define strategic options and recommend potential paths forward. It will work with architecture and other partners to develop end to end solution designs. It will define, mobilize & support the execution of joint APS & Business Partner initiatives & roadmaps via the alignment of business and APS strategies, using approaches and tools that enable high quality decision making.
As an APS Business Architect, you blend extensive business, problem solving, and technology expertise with a passion for influencing and collaborating with others. As a Senior Manager, you are eager to own significant workstreams within large scale projects and guide work to a successful conclusion. You are deeply committed to delivering value to our clients. In an agile structure you will partner with other Company leaders to define and implement consistent practices and standards for the specialized skills and expertise of your team, and influence the strategic decisions, solutions development and priorities related to your expertise. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.
The Team
We work in a highly matrixed operating environment, aligned within the Firm's agile operating model and working with key business partners.
You will work within APS' Business Architecture Center of Excellence alongside team members and business partners with a diverse mix of backgrounds and experience.
The Expertise You Have
5 years of Business Design & Transformation Experience, including five years working in a team of senior Business Transformation associates.
Or, 2 years management consulting experience or similar (e.g., strategy, investment banking).
Proven success with substantial contributions to sophisticated, strategic, and novel growth initiatives.
Tops-down strategy work that led to impact on top strategic goals & objectives.
Lean or Redesign/Re-Engineering Experience at Scale a plus.
The Skills You Bring
Strategy & planning, ideally with an operational focus, and ability to frame and make recommendations to senior business/technology partners.
Business assessment, analysis & enterprise design, including process and organizational analysis & modeling, as well as whole business modeling.
Business capability modeling.
Experience performing both with Agile and functional delivery teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across the enterprise to interact, influence and negotiate all levels of management.
Ability to empower and influence others with limited organizational authority.
Proven problem solving expertise as well as owning outcomes.
Comfort with complexity, ambiguity, and managing change.
