Radiologic/CT Technologist - Part-Time

The Radiologic CT Technologist will be responsible for a multitude of Dx radiography imaging exams and CT exams including biopsies and Interventional CT. Employee will be knowledgeable and dedicated to radiation safety. Employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. Employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate ability to work as a team.
Ideally, this position will perform Radiology, CT, and Mammography and/or be willing to cross train.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Imaging department procedures and protocols.
- Capable of setting acquisition factors for optimal image quality.
- Capable of positioning patient for optimal images.
- Capable of following Radiologist protocols for specific exams
- Capable of evaluating images for quality.
- Capable of accurately following physician's instructions.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Imaging department policies.
- Consistently follows patient identification policy.
- Understands the correct exam needed and patient factors
- Documents any changes/variation to protocol on requisition.
- Follows all P P regarding use of ISTAT (per sites worked)
- Education: Minimum of Associates degree, Radiologic Sciences program. ARRT Certification in CT preferred. For those not currently certified, the requirement is to become certified within 1 year of the date of hire (except for Per Diems - where this will not be required - but still is preferred)
- Experience: Preference of two years' experience.
- Licensure/Registry: ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging and NYS license. Also must receive the enhanced NYS license for injection, on or before completion of introductory period.
- Problem solving ability and attention to detail is preferred
- Good written and oral communication skills preferred.
- Requires ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely and adjust to changes in work volumes.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, safely transfer patients and ambulate without assistance.

- Shift: Part-Time. Days/Evenings/Nights - Flex. Approximately 26 hours per week.
- Travel: 0%-5% Travel can be expected in this role
- Standard Rate of $31.25 to $50.48 per hour plus benefits
