Position Overview
The Senior Accountant is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing various financial functions critical to the company's success. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. As a senior member of the finance team, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights into financial performance, support decision-making processes, and drive strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Prepare documentation for External Auditors
- Coordinate various audits and assist Controller in completing annual ICR (Cost Report)
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Monthly and year end closing of balance sheet reconciliations, closing of accounts payable, prepaid expenses and accruals, etc.:
- Processing of various banking transactions, maintenance of banking portal access requests, completion of various bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of financial accounting system (Insights)
- Acct. Receivables - Non-patient related billings of services and goods sold/utilized by related parties and non-related third parties
- Assistance with CMC annual informational returns and tax returns
- Analyze financial statements and Assist Controller on assimilation of consolidated financial statements
- Assist Controller in directing/managing staff accountants and Accounts Payable team
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in an accounting/business-related field
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience
- Healthcare experience
- CPA Preferred
- Remote position with 20% travel as needed
- Finance House - 99 Dates Drive
- $80,000-$100,000 per year
