Job Title: Medical Assistant
Cayuga Primary Care Family Medicine - Dryden
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Cayuga Primary Care Family Medicine in Dryden. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering exceptional patient care and support to physicians, with strong people and communication skills.
The successful candidate will perform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. This includes recording patients' vital signs, preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment and supplies as per protocols, and assisting physicians/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties and procedures within the scope of practice according to NYS laws and practice protocols.
- Record patients' vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and sterilize equipment and supplies as per protocols.
- Assist physicians/providers with clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and patient calls according to practice protocols.
Requirements:
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to remain flexible and work in two different locations.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, depending on staff rotation.
