The Patient Services Representative will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically in new situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient intake, including greeting and checking-in patients/verifying/updating patient demographics
- Assisting patients with filling out consent forms
- Receiving and processing cash and credit card payments for medical services rendered
- Initiating calls, pages and triaging phone calls
- Assisting in admissions, discharges, transfers and fulfilling other customer service or clerical duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level training/education in a healthcare support field
