The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and patient care of multidisciplinary hematology/oncology management services at six locations. Works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other staff members to ensure high quality, low cost and safe delivery of services to patients. Analyzes clinic and procedural operation and participates in continual performance improvement. Demonstrates and promotes the system's philosophy of excellent patient experience. Oversees the clinical and administrative aspects of the services, including practice profitability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages practice operation; creates standard work processes, research process improvements/efficiencies, recommendations and implements changes.
- Provides leadership and direction for the staff at all locations and ensures compliance with health system policies and procedures and payer guidelines.
- Works with System Director to develop cost effective staffing models, services and office operations. (cost, delivery, quality)
- Coordinates the scheduling, admission, discharges, and follow-up of patients in the clinics.
- Manage budgets, inventories, equipment, and supplies of the clinics and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Reviews daily, weekly monthly financial data and develops meaningful tools to assist in the understanding of the service's financial performance across the system.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, mentoring, evaluation, and retention of clinic staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and outcomes of the clinic services system-wide and implement improvement plans as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration or Associates Degree in Business or healthcare administration with 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Prior leadership experience in a medical office setting or outpatient hospital services.
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams of professionals and support staff
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic health records.
- Solid understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience directly supervising clinical staff preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office

Compensation Disclosure:
- $93,641 to $130,000 per year
