Primary Focus
Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud reference architectures that drive application deployments in a cloud environment. Responsible for setting and maintaining cloud architecture standards for Sedgwick's cloud environments. Collaborates with other architects, operational / infrastructure, and delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards. Provides guidance on major architectural designs for product roadmaps to ensure consistency, security, maintainability, and flexibility across system, technical, and product architectures.

Responsibilities :
- Produce and maintain cloud reference architecture documents for building and deploying complex and secure cloud-based applications, considering factors like data privacy, access controls, and encryption.
- Consult with cloud engineering teams to ensure designs and deployments comply with published cloud reference architecture.
- Develop strategies for migrating on-premises applications / solutions into the cloud in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Evaluate cloud solution designs for best practices, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security; provide alternative design recommendations when necessary.
- Define best practices around cloud administration including deployment, monitoring, and alerting in coordination with relevant groups.
- Conduct technical audits of existing cloud deployments to ensure adherence to current cloud architecture standards.
- Collaborate with the cloud FinOps team to identify cost reduction opportunities and develop ongoing cost-saving strategies.
- Assist in troubleshooting efforts during cloud-related outages.

Pay Range :
USD $145,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 / Yr.
