Overview

The Work

The Systems Analyst 2 will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and self-healing systems on AWS. This position involves automation, collaboration with developers, and defining processes for continuous delivery and compliance validation. The Systems Analyst 2 should be skilled in monitoring, metrics, and tooling to support infrastructure needs, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team efficiency. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex (journey-level) computer systems analysis work.
• Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Solve problems that are not standard and assist other staff in performing work of greater complexity.
• Analyze user needs, define the system’s scope, document requirements, and translate the user needs and requirements into functional specifications for the design of business systems.
• Develop programs and applications using object-oriented programming languages, client-server application development processes, multimedia, and Internet technology
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need:

• 4 years of experience analyzing new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency and effectiveness.
• 4 years of experience to test and diagnose systems to ensure that critical requirements are met.
• Experience with the following technologies:
  • Angular and similar frameworks
  • SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
  • Programming Languages and Tools
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • ADA/Accessibility Compliance
  • Agile Development Methodologies
  • Cloud platform development
  • CI/CD methodology
• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
• Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
• Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
• Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years in systems engineering, knowledgeable in programming/scripting, and skilled in database management to design, develop, and maintain IT systems.
• 2-3 years performing data analysis that exhibits critical thinking and systematically solving complex problems to improve system functionality and performance.
• 2-3 years of experience demonstrates effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborates well in team settings to achieve project goals.

Pay Range

Salary : $93,698 - $133,855
