Clinical Aide Job Description
Cazenovia Recovery is a dynamic organization that offers a supportive work environment and various benefits to its staff members. As a Clinical Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting safety checks on the facility
- Responding to crises and emergencies
- Assisting with referrals and coordination of services with fellow providers
- Conducting breathalyzer and toxicology screenings
- Responding to immediate social or housekeeping issues
- Assisting with and observing resident medication compliance
- Making referrals, coordinating services, and maintaining regular ongoing consultations with other providers, managed care providers, legal agencies, etc. to assist counseling staff
You will also be responsible for maintaining all clinical documentation, reporting, record keeping, treatment planning, screening, assessment, and discharge planning. Additionally, you will provide group and individual treatment interventions as supported by your certification or license scope of practice.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months of experience in human services
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver's license
Clinical Aides will receive introductory training for clinical substance use professionals within their probationary period.
Salary: $18.50/Hour
