Key Responsibilities
Jewelry Production
- Handle various aspects of bench work, including casting, wax work, and stone setting (pavé, channel, bezel, prong), ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Apply precision and efficiency in soldering, assembly, and polishing to maintain production standards.
- Focus exclusively on new jewelry manufacturing, rather than repair work.
- Maintain high quality control standards to ensure exquisite craftsmanship.
- Work with a variety of metals and gemstones, applying expert techniques.
- Participate in cross-training to enhance adaptability and efficiency across different jewelry-making techniques.
- Contribute to a team-oriented, professional environment with a shared commitment to excellence.
- Stay informed on industry trends and techniques, continuously refining and expanding skill sets.
Technical Expertise & Craftsmanship
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bench Jeweler, with hands-on expertise in soldering, assembly, casting, wax work, and polishing, as well as proficiency in working with precious metals, gemstones, and various bench techniques.
- Familiarity with stone setting is beneficial, with a willingness to develop and refine skills in this area. Knowledge of bright cutting and bead setting is preferred, with additional expertise considered a plus.
- Formal training or certification from an accredited jeweler program (e.g., GIA) or equivalent practical experience in a professional setting is preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
