Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all internal departments, ensuring streamlined operations and alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee human resource functions including recruitment, reviews, training, performance management, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Manage and execute special projects and store initiatives such as layout redesigns, product launches, and vendor negotiations.
- Serve as keyholder with store opening/closing responsibilities and support for all operational continuity.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute strategies aligned with brand goals and oversee budget planning, co-op marketing, and ROI tracking.
- Ensure ongoing store and facility maintenance, overseeing vendor relationships and physical plant operations (IT, alarm systems, repairs).
- Manage vendor relationships and expense controls to support financial objectives, including contract negotiation and budget oversight.
- Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor during peak times to support team performance and customer experience.
- Act as a strategic advisor to ownership, delivering executive-level reports and contributing to long-term growth planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
- 10 years of operations management experience in luxury retail; extensive fine jewelry background strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Deep understanding of HR management, luxury brand marketing, financial reporting, and vendor negotiation.
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to develop executive-level presentations and reports.
- Highly organized with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of physical plant systems, vendor contracts, and store infrastructure preferred.
- Location: Onsite in Metairie, Louisiana.
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (Closed Sunday and Monday).
- Core Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
