Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and restorations on a wide range of timepieces, including quartz, mechanical, and automatic watches.
- Conduct diagnostic testing to identify repair needs and ensure the accuracy and functionality of timepieces.
- Replace and repair components such as movements, crystals, hands, and batteries.
- Maintain and care for specialized tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service and support for high-value timepieces.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Watchmaker, with a strong portfolio of work on luxury and high-end timepieces.
- Rolex certification is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Expertise in servicing luxury brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega, and other high-end watchmakers.
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, including timing machines, case presses, and ultrasonic cleaners.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional manual dexterity, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certification from a recognized institution (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, or AWCI) is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of both historical and modern timepiece styles is a plus.
- Location: Onsite in Metairie, Louisiana.
- Work Schedule:
- Tuesday through Saturday.
- Closed Sunday and Monday.
- Core hours: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Specialized Training: The selected candidate will undergo training with a leading luxury watch brand.
