What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer position at CB Machining & Engineering, Inc.?
CB is a Veteran Owned, low volume, high mix sub-contract manufacturer which produces precision machined parts and assemblies. Our products are predominantly related to Aerospace & Defense, but we support many other industries as well. We are AS9100 certified and ITAR registered.
We are seeking a skilled and innovative CNC Programmer for our Turning Department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in using modern tools and equipment to ensure efficient and standardized approaches for our CNC programs, tooling and setups. This position requires a strong background in programming, and familiarity with traditional and emerging manufacturing technologies.
Since this Engineer will be focused on CNC programming for Turning, experience with CNC Lathes (FANUC controls) and programming experience will be very important.
Duties
- Create routings, programs, op sketches, setup sheets and inspection forms for each machining operation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with CAM software (MasterCam preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and customers.
