Role Statement: Team Leader, Operations
Team Leaders are responsible for contributing to the success of the store by delivering on their own performance metrics while assisting their team with achieving expected performance results and completing all tasks and responsibilities for their functional area. They achieve this by partnering with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers as leaders in the store who train, direct, and mentor others in their functional area while developing their own skills and knowledge across all aspects of sales, merchandising, and operations. This results in an elevated customer experience with our brand, strong KPI performance for the store, and successful team development within their functional area, as well as Team Leaders who are ready to take on new leadership opportunities.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Adoption
Maintains an understanding of new store initiatives and communicates changes to the stock team ensuring ongoing adoption throughout the store ○ Supports stock associates through the change journey, escalating adoption issues to the Assistant Store Manager, Operations when necessary
○ Maintain a presence BOH, coaching stock associates to exceptional operations performance
○ Deliver side by side operational training and ongoing training for BOH Processes
○ Observe operations associates, highlighting and coaching improvement opportunities
Stock Associate Development
○ Look for opportunities to teach and coach new skills to stock associates
○ Utilize all training resources in both training routines and training in the moment opportunities
Performance Management
○ Write and conduct Performance Appraisals for assigned direct reports
○ Possess desire and ability to clearly explain standards, train skills and coach improved performance to specialists
○ Manage all aspects of performance and development for specialists to encourage professional growth
○ Provide feedback, share observations, assessments, and ongoing solutions with the Assistant Store Manager, Operations
Stockroom Setup
● Monitor and maintain stock levels
● Create and lead execution of new season set up and end of season transition of the stockroom with Assistant Store Manager, Operations
● Lead and delegate stockroom routines
● Maintain overstock and stockroom signage
● Operate and maintain stockroom equipment
BOH Setup
● Ensure all BOH and inventory management tasks are completed
● Maintain all BOH equipment, overstock and stockroom signage
● Keep product straight, clean and fully stocked
● Promote Operational excellence through daily awareness of process, procedure and best practices
Inventory Management
● Lead and delegate inventory control routines
● Look for inventory management issues that may impact customer service and share with the Assistant Store Manager, Operations
● Ensure orders utilizing the IMT are entered
● Maintain Sales Posting Errors
● Investigate inventory discrepancies
● Lead BOH bi-annual inventories
● Support Display Maintenance when needed
● Ensure Clearance area pricing guidelines are being followed
Truck Processing
● Receive and process trucks
● Build relationships with distribution center / cross dock
● Pack and unpack all product from trucks
● Delegate truck processing tasks to operations associates
Customer Fulfillment*
● Process all Customer Fulfillment Orders, Store POS Backorders, and BOPS backorders
● Fulfill all phone orders and paper transfers
● Close BOPS, BDPU, Store Backorders, BOPS Backorders, and FedEx
● Notify Customer Service of any issues with the Customer Call list
● Maintain hold shelf / CPU
● Possess a complete understanding of all shipping systems and procedures
Systems / Technology**
● Maintain a deep understanding of all operations technology and systems
● Stay up to date on system and technology updates
● Serve as the main point of contact for all systems and technology issues at the store
● Escalate system and technology issues when appropriate
● Coach ongoing system and technology training
Workstation Maintenance**
● Keep workstation straight, clean, and uncluttered
● Ensure workstation is compliant with standards
Supply Ordering*
● Order operations supplies to support stockroom and workstation maintenance
● Maintain and replenish store lighting, counter supplies, and packaging supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.25 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
