You will specialize in the supervision and installation, coordination, standardization, and code enforcement of Audio Visual Systems deployments. An in-depth understanding of audio-visual principles, functionality, and terminology is required to be successful. Vast experience in running on-site field crews, subcontractors, and Union teams, and coordinating trades is required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Supervising and physical installation ability of pulling Low Voltage Cable (Cat 5, 5e, 6, 6a, Speaker Wire, HDMI, etc.)
• Supervising and hands on ability to perform Field Terminations (RJ45, DB9, XLR, 3.5 mini, etc.)
• Capable of coordinating and receiving site deliveries and staging the project material for installation.
• Detailed supervision and coordination between multiple subs/partners both on-site and remotely
• Day-to-day coordination with various trades and contractors on the jobsite including General Contractors, Architects, Electricians, and Furniture Vendors
• Able to supervise and install the following: Displays, Mounts, Equipment Racks, Ceiling Mounted Projectors, Projection Screens, LED Video Walls, In-Ceiling Speakers and Microphones, Pendant Speakers and Microphones, Wall Panels, Table Cubbies, In Table Microphones and more.
• Adept at reviewing floor plans, line diagrams and rack elevations to ensure successful installation.
• Submitting Daily Reports to the Project Manager and Project Team to outline project status and work performed.
• Technical Understanding – Able to understand technology and work closely with the field engineers who are responsible for programming and commissioning.
• Interface with customers on each job site representing cb20 with respect and integrity.
• Leave each job site clean and organized at the end of each day and spot checked at the completion of each project.
Required Skills:
• 5 years of experience in AV Installation supervision, troubleshooting and Service on large scale AV construction projects
• 5 years of LED video wall installation and supervision experience with various manufacturers
• Rigging and hardpoint installation and construction
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx as Conferencing Platforms
• Organized, proactive and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Capable of bending, lifting, crouching, and leaning over for long periods of time.
• Clean driving record
• The ability and willingness to travel (including a weekend departure, traveling during off-hours, and frequent overnight stays)
Required Certifications:
• CTS certified
• Low Voltage/Electrical Licensed
• Licensure in CT/RI a plus
• OSHA 30
• Aerial Lift certified
