CBC Coating is located in Appleton, Wisconsin, an area strongly rooted in the paper industry. The company was originally founded in 1978 as a subsidiary of Riverside Paper Corporation, and is named after Charles B. (C.B.) Clark, son of one of the founders of Kimberly-Clark. Today, CBC Coating is a third generation, family-owned company.

CBC Coating has been delivering quality, innovative specialty coated products for more than 40 years. Our capabilities include the development of custom, water-based coating formulations, along with the application of coatings to just about any substrate that’s on a roll.

What you will do as a Quality Control Lab Technician

The evening shift QA Lab Technician is responsible for the daily quality and testing functions within our coating process. This is a fast paced environment with a protocol for high standards and procedures. If you are hard working with a solid work history or fresh out of technical school we want to speak with you.

Responsibilities

· Testing, Recording, and Troubleshooting

· Works closely with production

· Placing material on HOLD when out of spec

· Maintaining a clean working environment

· Responsible for the proper care and understanding of all testing equipment

· Enjoys working within a team oriented environment

What we are looking for from you

· Ability to work independently without supervision

· Self-motivated and career driven within manufacturing / quality control

· Works with a sense of urgency

· Attention to detail

· Reliable

Requirements

· Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment plus

· Six sigma green belt a plus

· Experience with Microsoft office products preferred

· Must have normal color vision

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Ability to work on your feet for long durations throughout your shift

· Availability to work the evening shift (2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday)

· Occasionally have to work twelve-hour shifts depending on staffing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• No weekends

• Appleton, WI 54915: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
