The position is strictly B2B dealing with property management companies, housing authorities, manufactured housing providers and other housing industries.

About The Role
The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for effectively communicating with various titles & positions by phone, email and in person. This salaried position is responsible for managing existing accounts and customer relationships while upselling products/services. The position is strictly B2B dealing with property management companies, housing authorities, manufactured housing providers and other housing industries.
What You’ll Do
- Quickly learn and retain knowledge about resident screening products, FCRA and our internal systems.
- Spend majority of time maintaining client relationships via scheduled video and phone meetings, inbound and outbound emails, and impromptu meetings/phone calls. Office time is used to schedule meetings, update client management software, research and prepare upsell proposals, review customer volumes, and work with our operations team to make account updates.
- Effectively communicate AmRent products and services.
- Identify, document, and understand competitor intelligence. Work with management on strategic opportunities to maintain business with current book of business.
- Build long term relationships with clients.
- Travel to large clients if need presents itself.
- Participate in local and state trade association activities, committees and events if CRM and management believes it to be beneficial.
- Attend trade shows where personal book of business will be in attendance.
- Occasionally attend in-person AmRent Sales Team meetings.
- Establish and ensure continued growth in current book of business by monitoring customer’s volume and upselling, when applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently and on a team, while presenting a positive, professional, and business appearance on video calls and in person meetings.
- Strong communication and grammar skills (written & verbal).
- Must have strong initiative, be self-disciplined, motivated and have ability to prioritize work independently. Self-manage projects and assigned tasks through completion.
- Fast and resourceful learner with an eagerness to grow and adapt to daily challenges, develop new skills and experiences, and have flexibility with direction and goals.
- Possess attention to detail and have effective organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Aptitude for learning our proprietary software and third-party software that interface with our systems.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding, and takes initiative.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience in an Account Management or Sales role
