Functional Lead

cBEYONData is seeking a Functional Lead to join our Solutions team that supports our federal client in the execution of a Financial Management, IT Budgeting System Implementation. This is a full-time position that will allow for remote work.

The mission of the Solutions team at cBEYONData is to create and deploy innovative products to our federal customers. The CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend (BAS) solution is a planning and reporting solution that has been pre-built for the federal government and runs on top of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).  We are currently looking for a highly motivated Functional Lead with various SAP Systems (financials, budgeting, planning, PPBE, & forecasting), business process reengineering, requirements gathering and traceability, and testing analysis. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Federal Financials and experience supporting a software implementation project. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the discovery phase and fit-gap analysis of the implementation of an enterprise financial budgeting system.
• Document process flows for both the as-is and to-be processes.
• Gather and validate requirements.
• Create and populate requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) and test cases.
• Translate requirements into Agile user stories.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills with government leadership and pivotal decisions makers.
• Previous experience supporting a software implementation project.
• Firm understanding of standard SDLC, lean, and agile practices
• Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with software developers to effectively communicate and relay user requirements.
• Experience with Federal Financials.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust.
