Position Overview: Quality Control Manager will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment on regional construction projects, working alongside and learning from an experienced team of QC professionals. Reporting to either a Vice President or QC Director, QC Manager will assist with project teams with managing the building envelop quality and construction to ensure manufacturer and CBG QC standards are maintained. Responsibilities: * Review of the preconstruction documents for conformity of QC standards and best practices * Conduct on-site kickoff meetings\ pre-installation meetings\ periodic inspections of the following but not limited to: * Below/above grade waterproofing * Roofing * Windows/Doors * Weather barrier * Cladding (masonry, siding, metal panel, etc.) * Gypcrete * Assist with providing field training to our team and partner subcontractors * Assist in managing and distribution of QC standards for the region. Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum 10 year of construction experience. Multi-Family Experience preferred. IIBEC accreditation is preferred and\or willingness to acquire. * The exceptional candidate is detail oriented, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong management and communication skills. * Must be comfortable learning and using technology including the ability to learn sector specific software such as ProCore or BlueBeam, and some experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). * Must be able to work weekends as needed. * Must be able to travel statewide (based out of Tampa) to project sites as needed. * Must possess a Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving history. * Must have reliable transportation. * Must possess an OSHA 30hr course completion card and First Aid / CPR certification card or complete the training within the first 3 months of employment. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to safely navigate a construction project site including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs and climbing ladders.
