What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinician position at CBH Care?
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and / or group counseling to students, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
- Offer supportive consultations to families, helping them navigate available mental health resources and community supports.
- Screen students for mental health concerns and provide brief interventions as needed.
- Make appropriate referrals to community resources and collaborate with families to ensure successful engagement with these services.
- Facilitate referrals to higher levels of care, such as substance use treatment, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), or In-Patient care, as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to provide consultation and support around student mental health needs and services.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local school districts and community organizations to ensure comprehensive service delivery and promote program sustainability.
- Market program availability and success stories to help sustain and grow services within the community.
