Position Description:
This C-Store Location Manager position will manage multiple key operational areas of our business and maintain organizational procedures and systems for office personnel. C-Store Location Manager will oversee and manage the daily workload, project workforce and material needs according to demand. Ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, continued employee development and team building, as well as improve employee – customer relationships. The C-Store Location Manager will also manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as arise. This position will report to the Director of Retail. This is a safety sensitive position and will require a negative drug test.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all required Federal, State and Company policies. Demonstrate attention to detail, able to make good judgements quickly and the ability to multi-task.
- Coordinate day to day operations, focusing on service, distribution and storage according to Federal, State and Company policies.
- Ensure liquid products and services are provided to customers in a safe, efficient, and customer oriented manner, consistent with Company policies, as well as with Federal and State Regulations.
- Employ in the most efficient and effective manner, personnel, equipment, inventory and services.
- Make sure all company assets are protected, including cash and merchandise.
- Ensure that store appearance reflects company expectations and standards and that the store is a safe shopping environment, as well as a safe work environment.
- Ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed and that cash is only kept in the safe and the register.
- Follow company policy with regard to not allowing another associate operate another associate’s cash drawer.
- Follow company shift change procedures as per company policies.
- Ensures vendor check-in procedures are followed per company policies.
- Maintain fuel, distribution and service quality and compliance.
- Clean fueling area after gasoline or diesel spill.
- Record monthly equipment inspection reports, monthly inventory reports, fuel reports, repairs, and company expenditures.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, as well as following up on work results.
- Coordinate staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Approve weekly time cards for employees.
- Complete employee performance reviews according to Company policies.
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Enforce and maintain credit policies of the company.
- Operate kitchen equipment to include ovens, fryers.
- Fill LP Cylinders.
- Operate forklift.
- Operate emergency shut off valves.
Essential Functions

Required Education and Experience
- 5 years of industry experience.
- 5 years of experience in supervision.
- 5 years of experience in Profit & Loss Statement responsibility.
- 5 years of experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn business accounting systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 5 years of industry experience.
- 5 years of experience in supervision.
- 5 years of experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
- Previous experience as a C-Store Location Manager.
