Responsibilities/ Desired Skills:
Perform patient assessments. Monitor patients for change in status. Collaborate with medical providers in the development of individualized treatment plans. Administer medication and provide treatments according to a medical provider’s orders. Provide medical care in emergencies and facilitate the transport to a higher level of care when needed. Supervise LPNs. Expand knowledge and capabilities by participating in staff meetings and completing nursing education modules relevant to correctional healthcare. Provide patient education. Provide patient care and ensure methods comply with all nursing standards, as well legal, ethical and facility standards. Hard working, enthusiastic, professional who will provide quality patient-centric care. Must be team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to regularly communicate with corporate office and other members of the team.
Licenses/Certifications:
· Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license
· Current CPR Certification
Experience: One (1) or more years of clinical experience preferred
