Role Summary :
The Installer will be responsible for completing training and become proficient to all aspects of furniture installation. Works with minimal supervision within a team environment or independently to efficiently complete assigned tasks. Makes deliveries to clients and completes punch. In this role it is always your responsibility to project a positive image of CBI through professional appearance and personal interactions with clients, crew members and any other CBI associates.
Responsibilities :
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and co-workers
- Follows all safety regulations and uses necessary judgment to prevent injuries to self and others, and damaging building properties or furniture product
- Works within a team environment to efficiently complete assigned tasks
- Loading and unloading product from trucks
- Wiping down and general cleaning of a job site and warehouse
- Completes any reasonable task as assigned by Supervisor or Management
- CBI inventory procedures
- Proper operation of the forklift
- Listening to others to become part of the team
- Attends training classes to learn all systems, and gain knowledge of product
- Effectively communicates / manages with subcontractors (Level 3)
- Be able to read packing / product labels and pull product from the warehouse
- Comply with CBI tool list
- Lifts, carries, pushes, pulls and moves up to 100 pounds constantly throughout the day
- Stands, bends, stoops, kneels and reaches above head during entire shift
- Properly fill out timesheets
- Understanding drawings and space layout
- Proper use of iPad with BIM360 program
- Properly completes administrative paperwork (Level 2 )
- Manage mid-size projects and lead up to 5 men crew (Level 3)
