Position : Power Electronics Engineer Location : Houston, TX (Onsite) Experience : 9-25 years Must Have : Oil & Gas, Power Electronics with High Temperature, PCB development, Component Development Designing and constructing power electronics hardware and software systems suited for specific applications. Downhole tool PCB developmental experience Components development which can operate 175deg C and above Testing and evaluating power electronic devices for performance, safety, and reliability under different conditions. Experience with basic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, DMM, E-load, signal generators, high temperature chamber) Improving existing electronic systems by integrating new technology or refining components to increase the efficiency and durability of the system. Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff to resolve system malfunctions or to devise innovations that enhance system performance. Conducting detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety or quality standards. Implementing control circuits and software required for high-power systems such as motor drives and uninterruptible power supplies. Simulating and modeling power electronics designs before physical execution to ensure stability and functionality. Analyzing thermal management systems and deploying cooling mechanisms to maintain the reliability and efficiency of power components.
