CBIZ Talent and Compensation Solutions has been engaged our Queens client who is seeking a Director of Royalty accounting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Royalty Department
- Ensure contracts are interpreted correctly and rates calculated accurately
- Hire, manage and train staff; develop department goals
- Review, maintain and amend internal controls for efficiency and accuracy
- Month end close
- Audit liaison
- Special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of royalty accounting experience (at least 3 recent years in the Music industry)
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of complex publishing royalties and administration
- Computer savvy with knowledge of Adobe PDF and document conversions.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software like Microsoft Nav/Business Central, SAP, SX Enterprise is preferred.
- Must have excellent Excel skills.
- Music Industry experience is a must.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
