CBIZ is seeking a Tax Accountant for our Nassau County New York based client. Qualified candidates must have Accounting experience related to tax/ audit
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working directly with the Principals of the firm and other key staff members
- Participating in certified audits, compilations, and reviews
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparation of corporate, individual and partnership returns
- Responsible for daily communication with clients
- Responsible for billing of clients
- Internet Research
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Accountant with minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
- Experience with audit, compilations, reviews, and tax return preparation
- Real Estate experience a plus
- Excellent technical skills
- Flexible personality
- Good working knowledge of accounting and auditing pronouncements
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Sharepoint)
- Proficiency with ProSystem and Audit Engagement Software
