Facilities Maintenance – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Team Lead to provide first line leadership under the direction of the Grounds Supervisor and to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of all landscapes, sprinkler systems, and related areas on the grounds of CBN.
Our positive and dedicated Facilities Maintenance team is led by management who came from the field – they’re technicians, too! Most of the time our team is working an 8 hour shift; we enjoy a great balance between work and personal life. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to lead and motivate grounds maintenance employees
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and equipment
- Proactive and skilled at addressing challenges through research and creative problem solving
- Good oral communication skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, vendors, and outside public
- Understanding/knowledge of horticulture
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, walk, bend, stoop, climb and stand for extended periods of time in an outdoor environment
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
