What You Will Do
1. System Installation, Configuration and Virtualization :
- Install, configure and virtualize server hardware.
- Install / configure operating systems, software, network settings.
- Write deployment scripts and manifests to deploy hardware and platforms consistently.
- Develop and implement new solutions based on new customer requirements.
2. System Maintenance :
Pro-actively monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services.Tune-up OS and deploy software updates and patches and modify deployment scripts and manifests to ensure configuration complies with security requirements.3. Troubleshooting :
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.Respond to system outages and perform necessary repairs.4. User Management :
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.Provide technical support and training to users.5. Backup and Disaster Recovery :
Implement and maintain backup solutions, including RDBMS replication, recovery and system failover.Develop and test disaster recovery plans.6. Network Management :
Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Ensure network security and manage VPNs.7. Security Management :
Monitor and enforce security policies.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.8. Documentation :
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory.9. Collaboration :
Work with other CBN and customer IT staff and departments to support various projects and initiatives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs.10. Compliance :
Ensure compliance with CBN and customer IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications : Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or related field) or equivalent combination of relevant education and years of work experienceAny CISSP, LPIC, ITIL, VCP, MCSE, OCA / OCP 12c certifications are assets, but not requiredKnowledge of the following :Active Directory
