Broadcast Operations - Virginia Beach, VAThe Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Broadcast Transmission Control Operator to join our dynamic Operations team at our Television Production facility in Virginia Beach, VA. In this essential role, you will ensure the seamless routing of video and audio signals for live broadcasts, maintaining the highest quality standards for both incoming and outgoing television feeds.Our dedicated Operations team enjoys a great balance between work and personal life. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 9 : 30AM - 5 : 30PMSolid understanding of television production, post-production, studio, and remote production workflowsProficiency in signal measurement and analysis, with a solid understanding of waveform, video and audio signal standardsStrong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office softwareHands-on experience with small tools and precision adjustments to electronic equipmentAbility to work with detailed and intricate electronic equipmentAbility to work effectively under pressure while consistently meeting tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsSelf-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently, while also being an effective member of a teamCBN is a global nonprofit ministry demonstrating the love of God and sharing the Gospel through digital content, traditional media, and humanitarian aid.
