Job Description
The Aviation Maintenance Technician Inter position offers hands-on experience in a real-world setting. The person is directly supervised by, and assists our Aircraft Technicians in servicing, repairing and troubleshooting the aircraft and its systems.
Responsibilities
The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems and components to ensure readiness for flight.
- Help pilots and crew, addressing any needs or concerns during ground operations.
- Support senior technicians in performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Learn to utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Receive on the job training to become familiar with basic tasks, methods, procedures, and tools common to a corporate aviation flight department.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including detailed reports on inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Federal Administration Regulations and industry standards.
- Completed an accredited manufacturers training for aircraft operated by the company. (not required)
- Able to frequently bend, twist, lift, and practice safe lifting methods.
- Ability to travel commercially and domestic/internationally.
Skills
- Ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Knowledgeable of basic aircraft maintenance
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair.
The hourly compensation range for this role is:
$20.00 - $24.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
