**Graveyard Shift**

Position Summary

Under general supervision, provide and ensure Quality Services operational support during production process.  Validate compliance to product specifications and adherence to GMP’s through routine and advanced chemical and micro analyses on wines, juices, concentrates, spirits, and other Company products.  Communicate with and provide feedback to production team members to facilitate process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and packaging tests to determine if wines, components, packaging materials, and other products meet Company and regulatory specifications.
• Perform analytical tests to determine if wines and other products meet Company regulatory specifications.
• Perform micro related functions to meet Company regulatory specifications.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute required reports and records.
• Actively participate in and support Woodbridge Winery’s ISO 9001:2008 and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Quality Management Program.
• Actively participate in and support Woodbridge Winery’s safety program.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Work off shifts and overtime (daily and 6th/7th day) as assigned.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Enology, Biological Science, or Chemistry
• 0-2 years’ lab experience (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions/direction
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Must be able to recognize potential problems that require solutions to be found at a higher level
• Basic writing and math skills
• Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Vintrace, SAP, Enablon and Intellepac

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Work Environment:

    -   Works outdoors/indoors

    -   Works in warm/cold climates

    -   Works in high places

    -   Works on wet surfaces

    -   Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals

    -   Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic

    -   Must be able to move up to 55 lbs

    -   Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting
