As a Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician, you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility. You will repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems throughout the facility. You will lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures and install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.

What You'll Need
To be eligible for this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field is preferred. Previous leadership experience and vendor management experience are also beneficial. Certification in one or more of the following areas is a plus: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing, maintaining, and continuously improving functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems throughout the facility.
- Leading and auditing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Installing, maintaining, and solving relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Building and closing out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Cultivating positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 4 years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
- Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
- 3 years of work order management.
- Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
