Role Description
This is a full-time field service role for an Electrical Testing Technician at CBS Field Services in Nashville, TN. (Multiple other locations are hiring... contact me to learn more.)
The role involves performing NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, electrical system commissioning, life extension servicing, circuit breaker and relay modernization, and arc flash surveys. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical power distribution equipment. If you are the right person than you already understand and accept the travel (~50%), weekends, and holidays that a field service job requires.

Qualifications
- Show up looking professional and with a great attitude.
- Solve problems (both people and electrical challenges)
- Attention to detail when completing test reports.
- Competent communication skills - can you articulate what you want/need in a given situation?
- Experience in electrical testing and maintenance (ideally 2-10 years)
- Knowledge of NETA standards
- How to safely work around and test electrical apparatus of all types. (e.g. Transformers, Circuit Breakers (low, medium and high voltage)
- Ability to work and be a leading contributor to a technician crew.
- Certification as a NETA II or a NETA III is ideal.
- Veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force (Prime Power School, Navy Nuclear Electrician, and similar/related programs) are encouraged to apply and go to the top of our interview list.
