Salary :
As a Prosthetic Medical Biller, you'll be the mastermind behind the billing process, ensuring claims are reviewed and submitted correctly the first time! Prosthetics are an exciting specialty with specific guidelines and regulations.
Essential Duties :
1. Proficiency in all software programs utilized by assigned account(s)
2. Insurance Billing tasks including :
a.Perform Compliance Scrubs for claims in accordance with each clients services contract and company procedures
b. Perform all primary, secondary, tertiary and corrected claim submissions for all payers including Medicare,
Medicaid and commercial insurances through multiple billing software programs, clearinghouses, web portals and
paper claims.
c. Review, compilation, and submission for any Additional Documentation Responses in accordance with each clients
services contract and company procedures
3. Revenue Cycle administrative tasks, include but not limited to verification and authorization submissions
4.Communicate billing tips to the Client Success Manager for the purpose of maintaining current billing regulations
5.Documentation of all work performed in multiple billing software programs
