School Nurse (RN or LPN)Currently seeking a School Nurse (RN or LPN) for a Part Time school-based placementSuccessful candidates will have:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse in or Licensed Practical Nurse
- At least two years of relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship or residency required
- DOE Certification or DOH State Licensure
- Experience working with children with disabilities and seizures strongly preferred
- Will provide services to a high school student who uses an electric wheelchair
- Vent experience required
- Would need to be willing to be the student's scribe and perform other general classroom duties to enable the student full participation in the general education curriculum
- Nurse will need to ride the bus to and from school
- Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients, and other professionals
