Key Responsibilities:
- Trash Collection and Disposal:
- Regularly collect trash bags from assigned units or areas within the community or building complex.
- Ensure that all trash is picked up on time and placed in appropriate collection bins or dumpsters.
- Customer Service:
- Provide courteous and professional service to residents or clients, responding to any questions or concerns regarding the trash collection process.
- Ensure that trash is collected in a discreet and respectful manner, minimizing any disruption to residents.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude when interacting with community members.
- Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Ensure the area around trash bins or collection points remains clean and free from debris after trash is collected.
- Keep the valet trash collection equipment, including carts and containers, in clean and sanitary condition.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to management promptly for repairs or replacement.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines while handling waste materials, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Be vigilant of potential safety hazards, such as spills or debris, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Ensure that all collected materials are safely transported to designated disposal sites or dumpsters, avoiding any accidents or injuries.
- Timeliness and Reliability:
- Follow an established schedule to ensure that trash is collected promptly and consistently, including early morning or late-night shifts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management to report any delays, issues, or changes to the collection schedule.
- Monitor and adjust work processes to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Document and report any irregularities or issues encountered during the collection process, such as damaged trash containers or complaints from residents.
- Maintain accurate records of trash collection times, areas serviced, and any special requests made by residents.
- Equipment and Vehicle Operation:
- Operate and maintain any company-provided vehicles, carts, or equipment used in the trash collection process.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the area of service.

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
