Summary:
The Shop Admin is responsible for execution of all proper procedures and paper work for Shop in order to repair all trailers and tractors per company standards for quality control. The Biller is also required to provide quality customer service at all times. The Shop Admin is accountable for proper completion of all repair orders. This role is expected to adhere to and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as expected to follow all safety and environmental policies. This role calls for a high degree of professionalism and requires that the employee maintain strict confidentiality as it relates to employee and contractor information. The Biller will be accountable for all duties as instructed by the Shop Manager/ Operations Manager.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Monitor emails and respond to customers in a timely manner.
- Help with creating shop estimates.
- Verify customers with leased equipment.
- Secure purchase orders from customers, verifying correct bill-to information, purchase order and pricing prior to closing work orders for invoicing.
- Responsible for the oversight of the billing que for follow up and timely billing.
- Maintain customer files and information.
- Assist with handling of all billing disputes in coordination with manager.
- Assist with placing orders with vendors and follow up to maintain appropriate shop inventory.
- Provide support for quarterly Shop Inventory.
- Comply with all company policies including Safety Policies
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Billing/ Admin Experience
- TMT Product Knowledge/ Depot Software
- Computer savvy
- Repair Shop Environment Experience Preferred
- Attention to Detail
- Microsoft Office (Excel/ Word)
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
