Summary:
The Depot Operations Supervisor assist the Depot Director and Corporate Depot Manager in effectively running all sectors of the Depot. These sectors include Depot Logistics, Depot Lift Operations. Depot Repair with a key focus on the safe, efficient, and profitable functioning of the Repair Section while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties include (but not limited to):
The Depot Operations Supervisor is charged with running the Department, this position is primarily focused on these areas:
- The effective management and coordination of all services to all ISO tanks within the gates of CBSL. From Arrival to Departure. This includes the tracking of units which are not supposed to be at the CBSL Yard per written order/authorizations
- To oversee and enforce (With the help of the Operations Manager and Corporate Depot Management) the CBSL Depot Logistics Systems and Processes. This includes use of the Traveler Sheet, Expected Daily Logistics Review with Tankwash and Trucking, and all other Logistics system paperwork. The Depot Operations Supervisor shall directly report issues with compliance with the Logistics System to the Depot Director if efforts with lower levels of Management are not effective.
- To track, oversee, and manage all required and requested repair and preparation work made to all ISO Tanks within and coming into the CBSL Transportation Facility by effectively coordinating the repair workforce with a focus on maximum profitability and safety while maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
- To oversee the Depot Workforce and enforce CBSL Rules and Expectations for Time Card Accuracy, Productivity, and Compliance with CBSL Rules and Processes while developing a positive work environment
- To develop positive relationships with CBSL Customers through good service a communication.
- Other duties as assigned by the Directors or President of the company
Job Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Tanker or ISO Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback.
