Current Opening :
Fully California-licensed therapist
The clinician will :
Specialize in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and / or parents, and provide evidence-based treatment, particularly CBT
Have a passion and commitment for treating the primary disorders in which we specialize and other disorders in young people utilizing empirically based approaches.
Treat 10 or more clients per week
Be open to meeting with clients during after school hours and / or weekends
Meet in-person for the majority of the clinical work with children and adolescents

Responsibilities :
Specialize in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and / or parents, and provide evidence-based treatment, particularly CBT
Have a passion and commitment for treating the primary disorders in which the CBT Tools for Life Center specializes and other disorders in young people utilizing empirically based approaches.

Required Qualifications :
Fully licensed therapist in California
Degree from an accredited university or program
Completion of all licensing hours
Holds a current, active California license
1 or more years experience treating children, adolescents and / or parents
Experience treating anxiety disorders and / or OCD
Experience with CBT and familiarity with other evidence-based approaches (e.g., ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, Self Compassion)
Familiarity with ERP and interest in developing ERP skills
Warm, compassionate, authentic, passionate about working with children, teens, young adults and / or parents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working with young adults
Strong skills working with parents
Experience with other modalities of treatment including ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, Self Compassion
