**Job Summary**
CBTS is seeking a highly skilled Telecom Analyst to manage fixed wireline and wireless expenses, investigate telecom usage charges, and perform invoice analysis to identify billing errors and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fixed wireline and wireless expenses effectively.
- Investigate telecom usage charges with the help of invoices and customer service representatives.
- Perform invoice analysis to identify billing errors, discrepancies, and opportunities for savings.
- Prepare and ensure timely execution of month-end activities, including system charge-back departmental journals, bill/ledger reconciliations, Telco accruals, and working with Suppliers to resolve current aging debts.
- Prepare monthly reports as required.
- Manage invoices for accuracy and timely payout.
- Monthly telecom expense forecasts, track net new adds/disconnects by month.
- Resolve Telco and business group queries related to invoices and payments information in a timely manner.
- Analyze reports for vendor billing, pricing inconsistency, and include them in an issue tracker called Audit Status Report.
- Optimize telecom costs.
- Timely and accurate IT service provider contract amendments, changes, updates, and associated documentation and archival.
Operational Tasks:
- Maintain a telecom inventory database (MACD: Move, Add, Change, Disconnection).
- Maintain wireless order management.
- Engage in IT Operations monitoring and managing network-related incidents, changes, problems, configuration management, and RCA.
- Monitor outsourced contract performance and compliance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- SLA management and appeals review.
- Initiate RFP/RFQ for network services, negotiations, and contract management.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and assist with telecom order processing.
- Perform other duties as delegated, such as reviewing analyst processing during stabilization periods, backup functions, business process improvement initiatives, participating in audit activities, and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience in telecommunication services or network services.
- Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities to them, as directed by a director or manager.
- Knowledge of telecom components, trends, and best practices.
