SUMMARY OF POSITION
Performs mechanical services on cold drink equipment to include but not limited to preventative maintenance, set-up, and moving.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S)
- Reports to: Cooler Service Manager

- External Reporting Relationships: Customer
POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

- Maneuver equipment in order to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance
- Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
- Maintain positive customer relationships
- Prepare equipment in accordance with company standard
- Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory
- Maintain clean and safe work area.
EDUCATION
- Level of Education REQUIRED: High School - GED or Diploma
- Level of Education PREFERRED: Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Type of Experience REQUIRED (include minimum number of years): 0 to 3 years of general technical experience
- Type of Experience PREFERRED: n/a
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES KSAs (or Competencies)

- KSAs REQUIRED: Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude. Basic computer skills.

Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- I-Fountain or Best certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS Select One:
Office Environment- Requires extended periods of sitting, typing and looking at a computer screen. May also require some reaching, bending, and lifting.
Truck Driver (CDL required)- Requires frequent travel to customer sites and driving truck for periods of time. Use of pallet jack may be required. Environments may occasionally be hot or cold. Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling and/or lifting of 50 pounds, and climbing are required.
Customer Accounts/Merchandising/Delivery- Requires frequent travel by automobile to customer accounts. Environments may occasionally be hot or cold. Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling and/or lifting of 50 pounds, and climbing are required.
Production Facility/Warehouse Environment- Requires regular bending, kneeling, pulling, and/or lifting of 50 pounds and climbing.
