Warehouse Shipping Dock Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the shipping process, including the scheduling and loading of outgoing shipments.
- Train dock personnel to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
- Verify the accuracy of shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping instructions.
- Collaborate with transportation partners to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time deliveries to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipped items and manage shipping documentation using inventory management and shipping software.
- Conduct regular inspections of shipping equipment and dock area to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
