Description
Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse – Top Off position will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are accurately topped off using the Vertique system. The position requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a solid understanding of warehouse products.
Warehouse – Top Off Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process and top off orders based on customer demand using the Vertique system.
- Use the Vertique system to ensure that all products are picked, packed, and topped off correctly, following the system’s guidelines for accuracy.
- Perform quality checks on all items being topped off to ensure that all products meet company standards for quality and compliance.
- Ensure all necessary documentation are accurately placed onto pallets at the top off area.
- Report any issues with the Vertique system or product discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper lifting techniques, warehouse safety procedures, and wearing required PPE.
- Keep the top off are clean, organized, and free from hazards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
Qualifications
Warehouse – Top Off Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Three years experience in warehouse operations
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting automated warehouse systems, particularly the Vertique system.
- Strong familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly identify and address issues related to system performance, workflow, and quality control.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfort working in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature variations, noise).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
