Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse Scrubber will be responsible for operating floor scrubbers to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse floors. You will ensure that the warehouse environment is kept free of debris, spills, and dirt, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment for all team members.
Warehouse Scrubber Responsibilities:
- Operate the warehouse floor scrubber to clean large areas of the warehouse, ensuring that floors are free from dirt, debris, and spills.
- Perform daily floor cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and using the scrubber to ensure that all areas of the warehouse are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Quickly respond to spills or accidents in the warehouse, using appropriate cleaning equipment to address the issue.
- Perform routine maintenance on the scrubber and other cleaning equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure that all warehouse aisles, docking areas, and high-traffic zones are clean and free of hazards.
- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating cleaning equipment. Use personal protective equipment as required and follow all warehouse safety standards.
Warehouse - Scrubber Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior experience operating floor scrubbers or similar cleaning equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete cleaning tasks on schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.
