Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our crew. The ideal candidate will also be expected to assist as a laborer when needed and operate other compacting tools including:

• Hand Roller

• Plate Tamper

• Hand Tamper

Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt roller on residential and commercial paving projects

• Assist in compacting asphalt using hand-operated tools

• Follow directions from foreman and work effectively with the crew

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Perform labor tasks including raking, shoveling, and clean-up when needed

• Conduct basic pre-checks and maintenance on equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating asphalt rollers preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Strong work ethic and team mentality

• Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions

• Willingness to assist in general laborer duties as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Physical Setting:

• Construction site
• Outdoor work

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
