We offer the following
- Hourly Range: $18 - $22 Sales Spiffs, Bonuses, Profit Sharing (after 18 months)
- Full Time: 5-day work week (Monday to Saturday)
- 6-12 weeks paid training

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to determine overall flooring needs
- Build strong relationships & follow up with new/existing clients
- Occasionally set up appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product/design advice
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services available
- Provide flooring sample suggestions, review area measurements & calculate number of materials needed
- Create estimates/proposals & perform quality control during active projects
- Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and sampling needs
- Handle customer complaints or direct them to proper departments based on complaint
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Flooring Sales, Retail Sales, Customer Service, Construction, or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks & Microsoft Outlook (REQUIRED)
- Proper phone etiquette a must
- Basic computer, social media, and math skills a must
- A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced time management skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of the flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
