Full-time Receptionist Position
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM-3:30PM (30-minute lunch)
35 hours/week

Primary Purpose:
The person in this position will perform administrative duties for CCARC, including but not limited to answering telephones, word processing, faxing, data entry, copying, filing, and assisting in Human Resources and recruiting functions as needed. As the 1st person of contact with CCARC, this person must be kind and professional in all aspects of this position.
Essential Functions:
- Greet all visitors and direct them accordingly
- Answer telephones, direct calls accordingly, and record messages if necessary
- Perform general secretarial work as required by CCARC staff, including but not limited to letters, memos, certified mail, scanning, filing, etc.
- Process incoming mail; Open, stamp, and distribute mail accordingly; stamp any outgoing mail
- Scan and file any reports/documents as necessary (including training records)
- Employee relations: Send out Sympathy, celebration, and get well soon cards; send out monthly Anniversary and Birthday celebration memos to staff,
- Keep track of office supply inventory and order as necessary, process Purchase order
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as scheduling interviews, processing both motor vehicle and background checks, review the Abuse and Neglect registry for potential new hires
- Processing monthly reports, including but not limited to employee anniversary, birthday, and postage reports
- Assumes other duties as assigned by the Manager and Director of Human Resources
Other Related Responsibilities:
- Maintain good daily attendance (days of absence, illness).
- Cooperative, versatile, and works well independently as well as a team

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Proficient with Microsoft suite, database management, and general computer applications
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong people skills.
- Neat and accurate record keeping.
- Be cooperative and versatile; work as a team member.
- Must complete the Agency’s Employee Training
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Administrative experience
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.
- Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.
- Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
- Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and follow up on necessary actions.
- Sitting for extended periods of time and completing repetitive tasks like answering phones and typing.
